About the Job
We’re looking for an experienced Family Therapist to join our team at Leone Centre, a respected and welcoming therapy practice in London.

At Leone Centre, we have been supporting individuals, couples, families, and professionals since 2009. We are a thriving, well-regarded practice with a highly experienced and supportive team. We’re excited to welcome new colleagues.

About the Job:

Location: Online and/or at our welcoming consulting rooms in Fulham, Kensington, Belgravia, or Wimbledon.
Contract: Self-Employed Associate within Leone Centre.
Hourly Rate: Competitive, based on experience and availability.
Availability: We welcome applications from therapists who offer:

  • In-person sessions at our London consulting rooms.
  • Online-only sessions.
  • A combination of both online and in-person sessions.

(If working in-person, a minimum of 10 hours per week at our London sites is preferred).

Part-time, with weekday, evening, and/or weekend slots available to choose from.

Benefits and Opportunities:

As an associate therapist at Leone Centre, you can expect daily support from our admin team and a number of benefits including:

  • A collaborative, inclusive, and supportive team culture.
  • Competitive pay with the flexibility to shape your hours around your life.
  • Streamlined admin, billing, and referral systems; we manage logistics so you can focus on therapy.
  • Receive daily administrative and technical support.
  • No room rental fees or cancellation fees.
  • Enjoy working in our peaceful consulting rooms in prime London locations.
  • Free CPD opportunities and optional group supervision.
  • Support and visibility from our marketing and content team with the opportunity to contribute to blogs to promote your knowledge and experience.
  • We’re committed to the highest professional and ethical standards, so you can feel confident and supported in your work.
  • Become a part of a team of respected and experienced therapists.

Working at Leone Centre as a Family Therapist:

While this is a self-employed associate role, therapists work within Leone Centre’s established framework, systems and processes, helping to ensure a consistent and high-quality experience for clients.

As an associate therapist at Leone Centre, you will have the flexibility to shape your hours within Leone Centre’s booking framework. Many of our therapists typically offer availability for two days per week, or a few evenings, with the option of weekends if preferred.

We make sure you are fully supported on a daily basis. Our admin team is the first point of contact for all clients, so you don’t need to worry about handling introductory calls or booking initial appointments.

The admin team will book clients in for an initial paid consultation with you, after which ongoing sessions are arranged easily through our booking system. You are supported by our admin team, who are available Monday to Friday, 9 am - 6 pm and briefly in the morning and afternoon on Saturdays for any queries or client needs.

Whether working online via Zoom or in one of our peaceful London consulting rooms, you’ll benefit from a system that takes care of room fees, admin, cancellations, and logistical concerns so you can focus entirely on your sessions.

We’d love it if you have…
  • We particularly welcome applications from those underrepresented in the field of Psychotherapy in the UK, including LGBTQIA+ and Black, Asian, and minority ethnic communities.
  • Experience in also delivering individual or couples therapy.
Experience working with diverse communities, including LGBTQIA+ clients and neurodivergent individuals.

Essential Requirements:
  • AFT Membership.
  • Registration with UKCP or BACP.
  • A core qualification in counselling or psychotherapy.
  • Based in the UK and hold professional indemnity insurance (including US, Canada, and worldwide cover).
  • Experience delivering family therapy.
